1. Shaykh Abu Ṭāhir Muhammad b. Ibrāhīm b. Ḥasan al-Kawrānī, he was born in Madīna al-Munawwara in 1081/1670, and buried in the Baqʿī cemetery in 1145/1733. A master of the Shāfiʿī School, a leading ḥadīth expert (muḥaddith), and gnostic. 

His father was Shaykh Burhān al-Dīn Ibrāhīm b. Ḥasan al-Shahrānī al-Kawrānī (d. 1101/1690). The Knower of Allah (ʿārif-bil’lāh) Shaykh Ahmad al-Kashāshī was his maternal grandfather.

2. Shaykh Tāj al-Dīn b. ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-Qalʿī, he was born in Makka, and is buried in the cemetery of Muʿallā; passing away in the year 1149/1736. Some have stated that he is Muhammad Tāj al-Dīn, Abu Faḍl. A jurist (faqīh), and appointed muftī of the Ḥanafī School, a ḥadīth expert, and a renowned teacher.

Among his teachers you have: Shaykh Ḥasan b. ʿAlī, ʿAbdullāh b. Sālim al-Baṣrī, Shaykh ʿĪsā Jaʿfarī al-Thaʿālabī, Shaykh Ahmad b. Muhammad Nakhlī al-Naqshbandī, Shaykh Ibrahīm b. Ḥasan al-Kurdī, and Shaykh Abu ʿAbdullah Muhammad b. ʿAbd al-Bāqī al-Zurqānī al-Mālikī al-Azharī.

Shah Walī Allah studied portions of Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī with the Shaykh, as well as the other major hadith works including, the Muwaṭṭā’ of Imam Malik, Musnad al-Dārimī, portions of Kitāb al-Āthār of Imam Muhammad; further gaining certification (ijāza) for these works.

3. Shaykh Muhammad b. Ahmad, he was born in Makka, and passed away therein in the year 1150/1737. A follower of the Ḥanafī School, an exegete (mufassir), hadith expert, and a leader of the Qādrī spiritual path.

4. Shaykh Sālim b. ʿAbdullāh b. Sālim al-Baṣrī, who was born in Makka, and passed away in the blessed city in 1160/1747. A follower of the Shāfiʿī School. 

5. Shaykh ʿAbd al-Karīm b. Yusuf al-Ansari, born in Madīna al-Munawwara, 1085/1675, and passed away in Makka al-Mukarrama in 1162/1749. A khaṭīb in Masjid al-Nabawī, and a Ḥanafī jurist.

6. Shaykh Sayyid Abu Ḥafṣ ʿUmar b. Aḥmad ibn ʿAqīl al-Saqqāf, born in 1102/1690, and passed away in 1171/1758, and others have stated that he passed away in 1174; and buried in Muʿalla cemetery. A Shāfiʿī jurist, and ḥadīth expert. His maternal grandfather was ʿAbdullāh b. Sālim al-Baṣrī.

Incomplete
